GLAMTOUR of Raleigh Finds

What is in this bag????

Well, on Saturday I attended an event in Raleigh hosted by Tenisha Jon'ece of Gilmore Glitz and Glam Boutique. While there I couldn't pass up making a purchase:

faux tortoiseshell frames

Large animal print scarf

Excited to pair my finds with some cute outfits.

GLAMTOUR of Raleigh

Merchandise from Gilmore Glitz and Glam Boutique

January 25th I had the pleasure of swinging by Azia B.Salon on Six Forks Rd. to take part in the GLAMTOUR of Raleigh hosted by Tenisha Jon'ece, owner of Gilmore Glitz and Glam Boutique
FYI: The chocolate chip and Nutella cookies were sooo yummy

I enjoyed browsing the boutique items that Tenisha brought along with her. Not to mention I couldn't pass up making a purchase. Great conversation, treats, and goodie bags (yay!) where also a lovely addition to the afternoon. As well as a featured blogger Ms. Naturally Random being in attendance as part of the tour.

Event Host Tenisha and featured blogger M[r]s. Naturally Random

My Work - Painting

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Positive energy and many blessing to everyone in 2014!!!

So, in the mist of decorating our bedroom, I had the itch to paint again. Previously "boo thang" and I had fabric panels at the head of the bed ( click here to view the fabric panel DIY) but after looking at them for the past few months I realized that I didn't really like how they turned out. I'm not completely getting rid of them but for now, they're off the wall.

Acyrlic on Canvas

The inspiration for this piece was just freedom. I didn't have a particular design in mind but I knew what colors I wanted to use. From there, I began making strokes on the canvas until I saw "something". I must say I wasn't fond of it at first but the shading is what made me love it. Thus introducing our new piece(s) of art in the bedroom.

Hope you enjoyed!
